Over the last couple of months, our project manager Gary Moseley and his crew have been working around the clock on the completion of Phase 1 infrastructure. Gary and his team have been cutting and improving roads, digging trenches for underground cables, adding drainage, and installing water tanks.
Meanwhile, Kathleen and I have been interviewing builders for the construction of our Founder’s Lodge, as well as for lot owners interested in beginning construction of their own homes. We are very close to pulling the trigger on this and are finalizing talks with an experienced American builder based in Florida, who also happens to be a lot owner at Los Islotes.
Our sales team, led by James Archer, has been working very hard as well, traveling back and forth between Panama City and Los Islotes often to tour the property with prospective buyers. And their efforts are paying off. We have 18 new lot owners since the start of 2014.
All in all, we are delighted with the progress that is taking place at Los Islotes right now, and we look forward to the start of construction of the first houses within the community.
Great things are happening at Los Islotes, and James Archer and I would like to invite you to come see for yourself. Specifically, we would like to invite you to experience and tour Los Islotes with us in June. Thanks to the new and ever-improving access, we are now able to crisscross the property, on foot and in vehicles.
During your visit in June, you will be able to learn more about the region surrounding Los Islotes, take in views from specific lots you may be interested in, and experience the pleasures of this extraordinary property firsthand.
Here is what you need to know about our upcoming program for June:
The tour is scheduled for Friday, June 20, until Sunday, June 23.
Tour participants will arrive at the hotel in Panama City (TBD) Friday evening and stay overnight. On Saturday at around noon, everyone will meet James and me in the lobby of the hotel to leave for Santiago, Panama. Once in Santiago we will check in to the comfortable Mykonos Hotel, have dinner, and relax.
On Sunday morning, we will have breakfast, then head for Los Islotes to tour the property. We will return directly to Panama City after the tour.
The cost of the tour is US$475 per couple and US$350 per person. The cost includes transportation, accommodation, meals, activities, and taxes. Note that, should you choose to invest, the cost of the tour will be deducted from the purchase price.
When I consult individuals on purchasing real estate overseas, I always recommend that they get out there on the ground to see what they are buying. Los Islotes is my project, but it is no different.
If you are truly interested in purchasing a lot in Los Islotes, then this is a perfect opportunity to see it in person so that you can gather some intel and make an informed decision.
If you are interested in participating in the upcoming program in June, I encourage you to reserve your spot today. We will keep this as a very small group.
