Things are really starting to take shape at Los Islotes and I just wanted to give you a couple of updates on what´s happening here on the ground.
First off, last month Kathleen and I finalized a deal with an American builder, based out of Florida, to build five spec homes in the Mango Village area of project. We expect to break ground on these homes by the end of 2014. We are very excited about this as it will give prospective buyers an idea of what is possible here from a home design perspective.
Secondly, we have decided to increase the amount of site tours to Los Islotes. In the past we have had prospective buyers that wanted to participate in our Los Islotes site tours, but due to scheduling conflicts could not attend. So we have decided to pilot a new weekly tour program to accommodate the schedules of anyone who is interested in seeing Los Islotes. We have actually partnered with two of our lot owners to take the lead with this program.
Also if you did not get to participate in the Los Islotes site tour in June, we have another tour coming up next month in August. The tour will give you chance to learn more about the region surrounding the community, take in views from specific lots you may be interested in, and to experience the pleasures of this extraordinary property firsthand.
Lastly, while many of the ocean view lots have been sold there are still some excellent lots that remain available.Specifically of interest are lots 1, 2, and 3, the last “front line” lots available in Phase 1. These are currently priced at $140,000.
Among other inventory available right now include lot 46 one of my personal favorites. This sits in the back corner of Phase 1 but has wide ocean views and excellent mountain views, as well. This lot is relatively flat compared with some of our more dramatic lots, meaning it will be fairly easy to build on. At 1/3 of an acre, it’s a nice size. The current price is $95,000.
Lot 94 is another on the top of my personal favorites list. I like this lot because of the views, but also because it is bounded on one side by a green area created by a natural spring that runs most of the year. Like lot 46, lot 94 is relatively flat compared with some of our lots and sits above the road which means a bit of work to put in the driveway, but also means any house on the lot across the road won’t obstruct any views. This lot is currently priced at $125,000.
Of course, I love all our lots. Each one has its pluses and minuses, depending on what you’re looking for. Even the lots in Toucan Forest, which have no ocean view, have nice views and can be perfect for someone looking for a private setting. There are lots of trees here, and a creek runs by some of the lots, something else that many really appreciate.
The prices for ocean- and mountain-view lots start at $50,000 and we’re also offering no interest financing over 36 months with 20% down.
There are also some discounts available for specific ocean view lots like lots 42, 63, and 70 under a special financing offer. To find out more about this special discount get in touch with our sales consultant, Louis O´Connor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I´ll be in touch with you again next week with the details about the upcoming tour in August.
